Hornaby's are good bullets, i shoot 150's out of my 308. browning BLR and they're on the money and knock down alot of game. One thing i find is that they tumble alot, once in they dont come out, i think the reason being they dont shroom evenly, and then they strike something and they play pinball in...

i'm with silver tip on this, u dont need a huge scope, ur usually not gonna crank it up past 6, i dont think money or quality should be judged, swarovski scopes are sick, anything in that cost range better be worth it, zeiss and leupold are also awsome scopes and i own both. I have a 1.5 x 5 on my 3...

grunt smacker has the idea. U got a traser round lying around somewhere, big boom, no more racoon. What i would do to be able to take my 22 and go have some fun on those things.

300 weatherby, stainless synthetic. Strap a Zeiss 3.5 by 10, load 4 180grain barnes X 's in it and ur ready to tackle the world.

Browning X-Bolts
Has anyone purchased or shot one of the new browning x bolts. I'm looking to get the 300win model and i'm wondering if they are better than the older A bolts, they look really, really nice. Thoughts and or comments appreciated

leupolds or zeiss, zeiss on the 300, leupold on the 308, both are excellent

Its not like i get those every weekend. No i do alright but that second fish is a tank an i got lucky enough to 1 hook it and 2 land it, i was using a #4 hook and 6lb leader. One advantage of living in BC,
