Re: My Any Bull Elk tag says 2013 Fish on it.....

I think you need to take the photo with all your and your Dad's personal info, customer id and, etc off the web. But that is just me.

As for the license, I think you are good to go hunting.

Re: Word on the street........

There is always a good bull or two floating around. They might not be 170"ers, but moose I'd have shot in a heartbeat. Yeah I got talked into mounting my bull. I had him euro'ed and kind of wish I'd kept him that way, but now he is a pedestal shoulder. Looks nice. Keep in touch- I have to help some ...

Re: 3 point Boone and Crockett typical?

Missed the previous post that pointed out Weick's buck. That is the 190 and change buck I was referring to. Sneakem- That is a beautiful buck. Throw 3" eye-guards on him and 1 inch on each point, plus a touch of mass and you are there. Thanks for posting a photo of such a great buck. For the record-...

I hope it is the 62 year old-- That way the 14 year old can help pack and Grandpa finally gets a moose.

Re: Oak Creek

You have a chance of finding a buck like that (or bigger), but killing him with a bow is a different story. That is a nasty mountain to hunt with a bow. There is a reason why the success rate is so low. Good luck and have a fun hunt. Don't pass an older, mature buck within bow range.

Re: 3 point Boone and Crockett typical?

I have seen two 3 points that netted over 190. I believe one was 192 and change the other 190 and change. I thought one for sure was entered. Maybe not. Anyway, both lacked G3s, but they had long mains and huge inside spreads. I had a friend kill a 3 point buck in AZ that went 197+ gross, but netted...

Re: Paunsaugunt - Muzzleloading hunt hurt

I tried my best and fought the change of dates. We organized and had many people send emails, but it fell on deaf ears. I am really disappointed with the Wildlife Board on this issue. There is no valid reason to have moved the dates on the Puans, 1000 Lakes and Oak Creek units. One of the poorest th...

Good job on your moose. Moose are an interesting creature and all are worthy of being hunted. We call moose like that Elmo, and they look very impressive on the wall. Congrats.
