what grain slugs do you normally shoot? I am reloading 165 grain accubonds in mine. Do 180's shoot a little better?

Bear Valley will have some. Also the hills behind Parowan and Summit will hold elk. They are everywhere.

Tough 3rd season in CO

We had a horrible hunt! Near record temperatures every day, in the high 60's!!! Needless to say the deer were scattered and not moving much, and not much rutting activity at all. Saw more bull elk than we did bucks. It was fun to get out though!

Jackson's Wash will hold some good bulls. There are some good reseeds in those areas that we have seen good bulls in the past. I have never seen a 370+ bull in those areas but we have seen some really good ones. Find the water, find the elk, thats the secret out there!

New to the site

I am new to this forum, been on others like this, it seems like a pretty good group of guys. Anyways, I am headed to Unit 43 in CO this weekend, has anyone hunted this unit before? Had success? Trophy potential? And feedback would be appreciated! Thanks
