Re: Chevy, Ford, Dodge, or Toyota
Some of you guys crack me up, calling a Toyota a girls truck? That's an opinion based on ignorance. Last September in Colorado I pulled out a full sized Chevy 4x4 that had a pull up type camper hooked up behind it, and we had 2 cut up elk in the back. I pull a 21' Procraft bass boat just as easy wit...

Re: South AZ Desert Muley Rut?
It was a strange year. I have been chasing these desert bucks most of my life, and I did see a few nice bucks with does, but I saw mine the last week of December, but I was hunting a different area north of Roosevelt Lake in unit 23. As BOHUNTR stated, keep after it, we have some giant mule deer buc...

Re: Chevy, Ford, Dodge, or Toyota
I have been a Chevy man my entire life, and love them. But I bought a Toyota Tundra two years ago, what a fantastic truck. Will climb anything , looks great, and packs elk antlers nicely

Archery elk hunting partner for 2008
Morning guys. I'm still looking for an archery elk hunting partner for a two week hunt this year in Colorado. I posted once in the big game forum with more details. I found a partner for my Idaho hunt. If interested you can contact me here or at JOwens11@cox.net. Please read the other post before co...

Re: What about offset vanes?
I'm certainly no expert, but I have been told that any shaft with a helical fletching versus straight will help stabilize arrow flight, especially with broadheads. I know that on both my compound and my recuve that it makes a big difference. My carbons on my compound are setup with 4" vanes set at a...

Re: JOHN MCCAIN - ON 2ND AMMENDMENT RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS
As a life long Arizona resident who also lost my oldest brother in Vietnam, whom I never had the pleasure of meeting, I say God bless John McCain. I love the man and have always voted for him and tried to contribute to anything he's supported.

Re: Poachers caught from fillmore
I sure do not understand that kind of thinking? I'm glad they were caught, but I think that a $ 10,000 fine per hunter, and 30 days in jail along with lose of hunting & fishing rights for 10 years would be more inline with what they deserve.
