Re: Unwritten rules????

I know between the people i know the first one to find the shed gets the set and sometimes has to trade another shed or buy it off the other guy. If someone has been winter range patternng, watch'n, and pick'n up sets off a buck they usually end up with the new ones the same way. We all try and resp...

First one to find it, whoever is willing to pay for one side, ya wing it and flip a coin, or ya both get mad at each other and put ur s...

Re: Hollow antler

Belive me or not but i have seen a half dozen or more like that and have 2 at my house. IMO the reason it happens has something to do with age. I say that because all except about 2 of the ones I've seen have been oviously declined bucks. The other 2 were both freeks and who knows maybe declined as ...

Re: kickin myself for taking my friend along

Gotta agree on the unwritten rule business, and that you cannot trust anyone to keep there mouth shut. When someone wants to hunt with me and i can actually stand them i usually play the not so good spots game for 2 years or so. Then I'll invite their brain to visit a BIG buck I've known of for year...

Nice brown set i like dark brown sheds, I say closer to 170" though. Reason i say that is mass measurements, spread credit, and g3's, but a good look'n 170". :thumb

Re: I dont get it.

If there were alot of does there were bucks too maybe not many of them but i'll bet there were some. Bucks tend to hide better thats why i say check tracks and other things they cant hide. You'll just have to spend time try'n to figure it out, every area is diffrent so it's hard to say. But i'll bet...

Re: I dont get it.

When ur out hike'n look for the deer crud that is a few months old and look for the piles that look like buck not doe. Bigger ones and sometimes clumppy like a sheep. You'll notice that a smaller area like a knob or something that offers cover for beding will have more of it. Start look'n around and...
