Thanks thesaint! I called them up, and they will freeze the meat/cape/antlers as long as space is available.

First ever elk hunt, Gunnison CO

My father and I will be going on our first ever elk hunt in 2 weeks near Gunnison, Colorado! I am very excited for this hunt! Re: Ticketed for Shed Hunting with Dogs

It looks like Minnesota isn't the only state with crappy DNR officers! I would be very upset if I were in your shoes. Apparently this officer lacks common sense and decency. I would fight it to the end. I wish you the best of luck!!!

Elk Hunting Tactics

I will be going on my first elk hunt this coming fall in Colorado. I will be hunting the western portion of GMU 68, and will be going at the beginning of the archery season (August 28) and hunting for about 2 weeks. I have read and been told by people that I should do very little bugling this time o...

Re: Should of brought a shovel

Wow! That is awesome!!! I have to move out west...I don't find many sheds around here.... Not a lot of public land compared to western states, so that gets picked over very fast. I need to find some more private land to look on :) It's still nice getting out even without finding a lot. Do you look o...
