Wish I could help but I don't know the area. Sounds like you've put in some time in that unit. Here's a bump to the top of the page. Hopefully someone else will have some info.

What areas have you been looking at?

I've spent a lot of time in this unit and it can be very tough. There are some good resident deer but the hunting gets better when there's an early snow in southern Colorado. The poster that says it's full of 200+ deer is full of it. There are some great bucks there but full of 200+ is a pipe dream....

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but looks like your out of luck unless you can be classified as a mobility-impaired hunter. I bought this tent last year for a backpacking elk hunt. It is a great tent and I'd recommend it to anyone. Lots of room, easy to setup and very functional. Best of all it's only 3lbs and a few ounces. Very fair price too.

Very nice. I'm having a rougher than normal year. Much more hiking for less horn. That's a nice deadhead there in the back.

Get out and walk. Even if you don't get weather there are some good resident bucks in there and they can be found with a little work. Never had any luck sitting water in that unit but I have had good luck sitting between water holes and bedding areas at first light. No real secret to that unit, just...
