I typically drag my muley back, I have only had to quarter a muley once. It helps if there are two people to drag, makes it much easier. As a new member to the site, I'd like to share some memories. Here are a few photos from my 2006 hunt in Colorado.

Thanks for posting the photos from the trail cam, it brought back memories for me. The funky 4X2 with the drop resembles my first bull taken with a bow. Not a trophy by any means, but it's nice to see that there are other freaks out in the woods.

Sounds like you have done some homework......if you beleive you know where they are that is half the battle, it's all about location and placement. The rut should be to your advantage, so if you position yourself in an area where the elk can be found, I would begin calling them in. A bugle to locate...

It's a wonderful thing to witness your pride and joy successfully harvest an animal. I must say he is a very nice bull for the first bow hunt. Much nicer than my first....a freak rag horn bull that answered my cow call.
