We will be up there for the same hunt. going up thurs. hope to be done early week. There seems to be lots of good places to hunt. I will save one for you. There are seven hundred tags for this hunt so I am sure we will have company. I hope you all save one for me.

The areas I would glass is on tha north and west sides of black mountain which is about 4 miles west of wickenburg. I would also glass the mountains southwest of los caballeros golf course, to get there go on south vulture mine road and go past the golf course a little bit and head into the mountain...

Forgot to tell you that no firearms allowed for hunting in the park. Bows only. (well rocks, slings and spears too)
Also, up just south and east of wickenberg is pretty good. Just get some good glass and sit up high.

I hunt with a 257 roberts handed down from my dad. Absolute tack driver at 200 yards. Shoot only the +Ps. Remington Model 72 if I recall correctly. He actually made the stock out of a root!! Finished off the checkering with a pocket knife.
