Re: what boots do you wear for high country hunting?
I have been wearing a pair of unisulated Danner Pronghorns since 2005 and they are on their last legs, They have been a great boot for me. I think buying boots is kind of like buying running shoes, just because they are expensive doesn't mean they will fit your foot properly. I am going to be replac...

Re: new here, want to buy first muzzleloader
I have owned 2 TCs: the old standard encore and recently I sold it and picked up the Encore Endevor. Both guns shot great just over 1" @ 100 and I think with a scope they might do just a little bit better. My Dad has a Knight Disc and my uncles and cousins all shoot Omegas, Triumphs, or Encores; the...

Re: Nikon Omega vs Leupold SABR
Thanks for the info Guys.
And thanks Southwind, I didn't know bushnell made a ML specific scope. I am going to have to take a look when I go to Cabelas this weekend. I like to put my hands on stuff there and then try and find the best deal online.

That is what I was afraid of. Have there been many instances of winter kill so far?

Wyoming Winter
Hey everyone Greetings from Minnesota. Just thought I would ask to see how the winter has been in Wyoming this year. I had heard some rumors that it might get kind of ugly out there and that there might be trouble for the deer. I decided to put in for a different area this year, hunted the last 2 ye...

Nikon Omega vs Leupold SABR
Anybody have any experience with these scopes on their muzzle loader? I am really interested to hear what people thought of the different BDC reticules and if there have been any reliability issues. I have a TC Pro hunter and I would like to take it out for a spring bear hunt and possibly for Elk/Mu...

Re: Wyoming Buck
Good Catch Tonoonyi- The deer was still up and offered me a second shot to put him down for the count and I took it. He was facing straight away so I aimed right between the shoulder blades and squeezed. Just as I broke the the trigger he collapsed and the round hit him right between the ears, and f...

Wyoming Buck
Hi All Just got back to Minnesota from Wyoming and though I would share a little bit about my hunt. We went out anticipating hunting the high country in the Bighorn Mountains, but after several days of only seeing does and elk hunters, we made a change of plans. With our non-residents tags we could ...
