If you put in the special draw with 3 points you can draw probably all but a dozen units in WY. 95 last year took 5 points to have a chance at drawing but in the special draw you had a chance with 2. I have never hunted that area but am looking at 98 and 89 but I only have 1 point.

Anyone hunting or hunted unit 6 in Nevada? I know the early hunt is winding down. Anyone have some success? Got my points. Didn't expect much since I drew antelope and deer last year.

Drew a 61-64, 66-68 late rifle tag. Never expected to draw my first pick. I guess the added tags helped out.

I have a question for you BOHNTR. If I buy a archery tag this January will it be good for January and the early and late archery seasons for the whole year? Can I still get a point for 2012 if I do this?

Go to Bill, turn right and keep an eye on your map because it is pretty much a checkerboard of private and public. Lots of goats in the 12 inch range. Seems there are less and less in the 13-14 inch range these days. Noticed they cut the tags by 500 this year. That may help with some of the pressure...

After 9 years I drew my 5th choice, late season rifle hunt in the Rubies. Finally drew a tag this year.
