Its a nice bull, Its a typical oregon. Hes not very wide, I would say no more that 45 inch wide. I scored a 7x7 from Oregon 48 in wide he was 312. My guess would be 320 top.

If you want to shoot full metal jackets you might as well just go pack to alum. arrows. They will bend. I have shot about every arrow on the market and I have never found a better arrow than a Whitetail. They hold up all year long. I think people are getting carried away with the heavy arrows. If yo...

If your going to be a good shooter in the field you need to shoot only a couple arrows at a time. If you shoot a mess of arrows at a time you will never make your first arrow the best. I shoot 2-4 times a week during the spring with field tips. When July rolls around I put on my broadheads. I only s...

I bugle with the primos blue reed bugles, and the mouth reeds for cow calls when the elk get hung up. When the rut is going full bore, nothing works better than a sleezy cow call. Last season call in severl bull with a slow rut using this method.

My family hunted silvies for over 65 years. The deer population is kind of like a roller coaster. We have harvested severl 25" + deer over the years. This next year the burn area will be a great hunting spot.
