Re: Spider Bull "Wanna Be"
Whats impressive about feeding an elk hormones and steroids and letting someone shoot it?NOTHING I am not disagreeing with your statement one bit. But that is still one burn of a set of horns. May not really wanna read about the hunt or anything but I would like to see more pictures. Juiced or not ...

Re: Defaceing critters?
Its really not that difficult to do. I had my taxidermist show me a few years ago how to cape out the skull. there are really only three spots that are hard to do. You gotta be really careful around the eyelids mouth and tear ducts. Ive found that with antelope its exactly as was stated before just ...

Re: Epa May Ban All Lead In Bullets/shot/sinkers
I found this posted on another forum. Its from the nra webpage and if correct shows the epa isnt involved in the proposed ban. Atleast not the bullet ban.

Re: gutless skinning?
+1 to speedgoat. The first time I saw the gutless method used was a few years ago on an Oregon elk hunt. My brother shot a bull and me and my buddy met up with him within a few minutes as he was rolling it over to gut it. My buddy says you guys have got to try it this way and just starts taking the ...

Of the three I am a 25-06 fan. But with results like that I cant imagine going wrong with any of them. Great shooting.

Re: Leupold vs. Zeiss Riflescope?
I know this is an old post but since nobody replied I'll tell you what I think. I absolutely love my vx3 4.5x14 lr scope. It has a 30 mm tube for more adjustment for your turret system. Unreal clarity. Also if you figure out your fps on your load with bc of the bullet and I think you need average te...

Re: What do you consider a 'trophy' bull?
Not enuf tags good luck on your hunt. Sniper if youre like me the first bull you take aim at will make your hair stand up and give you a case of the shakes you wont forget. First shot hit him a little far back in the ribs and second hit him high shoulder on my first bull. When I got to my bull I had...
