Deer hunts near cody WY??
I have in-laws in Cody WY and I want to go hunt there next year. According to the maps there are 7-8 units that all connect at Cody...what units are the best for a rifle deer hunt. Might be interested in antelope and elk in the same area. Any information would be great to get me started!

Re: Idaho Unit 54
I am lucky and have gotten to spend alot of time in unit 54. How far are you away to come scout? I can give you a few places to start looking. You are right that is gonna be one awesome hunt. last bow season I saw a few 180" deer. Then in November out messing around I saw one 200".

Northern Idaho Info Needed?
I am looking for some basic basic info on northern idaho unit 4. I know there is an OTC tag for whitetail or mule deer, elk, bear both spring and fall. I think baiting is legal for bear in the spring. Is this a good area? I am planning on going on a whitetail/elk bowhunt. Are there alot of whitetail...

Idaho Muzzleloader Laws
I am hoping to draw a muzzleloader tag in Idaho this fall, but Idaho has some stiff regs on smoke poles. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations of muzzleloaders, legal powder and bullets? Thanks in Advance.

Re: IDAHO UNIT 78!???
What is the best way to get on deer if it is so thick? Can you walk the trees and push them out?
Looking at the map of 78 it appears alot of it national forest but that is the thick stuff you are talking about, is the rest of the area private ranchs etc?

Re: IDAHO UNIT 78!???
I know there are better units in idaho but the draw success on those units are under 20% if not in the single digits. I would rather draw a tag and have the chance to hunt then end up in an open unit hunting. Are there any private tracts of land in Unit 78 that hold deer? It looks beautiful over the...
