I elk hunted unit 2 last year in October on walker ranch. We saw a few nice bucks just before you reach the ranch on public land. We were there for 9 days and only saw 5 bucks. Not a lot of deer but we did see one that was close to 180. Good luck.

Its works great! also if you get to warm and start to sweat, the sweat goes through it and then you dont get the chilles when you cool down. Great stuff and the turtle neck cold weather one is crazy warm!
