Springville Shooter is right on unless your in Wyoming than the tag thing is not an issue only finding a decent buck. try hunting with a decoy or in a blind next to water and you will do fine.

the higher you go the better the deer. Most of the deer I seen in the back country were bucks. near the roads you would see deer aplenty but mostly does. Make sure you have some good optics and a great pack! And good luck. the elk are a plenty as well. Try the manderfields area above gilbert meadows...

i wish this was available before the draw period. looks like the unit i put in for is decreasing the numbers. Oh well, maybe two years in a row without a tag....uggghhhh
Sorry to hear it has slowed. I didnt do any good on the streamers or wooly buggers.....once i changed to copper johns and weightd princes did great. My wife caught 11 in about 2 hours before we headed home. Better luck next time.
