Re: New World Record?

Could someone PLEASE post a picture of this bull? My brother in law shot a bull that was 9 x11 nontypical in 2005 in NW CO. The DOW had never seen an antler configuration like it before. I even sent the pics to Colorado State University to the elk research group and they had never seen anything like...

I think they looks like a small bear, dog, wolverines, wolf hybrid! the fact that they were running does not help. If that is a tail in the last pi...

Re: Pics of My 2006 Bull, 5 years previous to Hunt

Same genetics without a doubt. The bull in the first picture had to be at least 5-7 years old based on the thickness which would have made your bull 10-12 years old? I guess anything is possible. If the meat was tough or just not that good it may be an indicator of whether or not it was the same. He...

Re: my itsy bitsy elk.

Maybe you do not understand conservation but... if you keep taking the babies out of the herd there will never be a truly big elk. I bet you had to check and make sure he was legal a few times? I am not one to talk, after I saw one with ivory tips this year I could not shoot worth a dang.... he on t...

Isn't that funny how after days in the wild we all still hear our wives yelling about "shooting cows because they taste better" and " you better not come home empty". You are the 4th person including myself that felt the pressure this year. I was lining up for a mule deer on day three because of the...
