Missing the winter Dog season
Any yote hunters from New Mexico having any luck this winter? I’m not there to keep the dog population down around Youngsville. The other spot I like is around Quemado, have shot some big dogs south of town off 32.
If any one is working that area, I would like some information/pics.
Thanks

Re: Help me
Are you going to tell us where the pic was taken, or if this was a photo shop test?

Re: In-lines versus traditional muzzle-loaders
In New Mexico, we do have a Traditional Hunting season; the restriction is cap/flint ignition, NO Scopes. I believe the scope was the factor in the test, even with an Old Style of scope, the quality of the scope used in this test far surpasses the best scope made 150 years ago. Most shooters know th...

Re: Help me
If the picture was taken in Africa I would say a lion. Could be a big cat with a damage tail? The way the shoulders are positioned, dogs don’t lower the heads in that fashion.
My guess is big Kitty

Re: question on realoders
It depends on what you want to do, I assume just basic rifle and pistol reloading. You should be able to buy a complete kit for around $300. This will have all the basic tools and components, you will need. First thing you need to get if not included is a good caliper and case trimmer. As you progre...

Re: antler restrictions
New Mexico has had a 2 pt restriction for years, they just went to the 3 pt restriction last year, lots of people see the deer and think it will make 3 points (small kickers and such) when they get to it they find out it is a 2 point, they walk off. The 2pt restriction has not helped the population,...

Re: swarovski spotter
You fill the little safe with lots of items of little value or items that you never use, then have a fight :tz with the safe (not the wife) and make sure the whole house hears about you have no more room in this safe for all the valuable items that need to be stored. Then you can start shopping for ...

Unfortunately you are traveling though the wrong point. When I get up in that area end of spring early summer I will try to look you up. Stay safe up there.
