Re: Which scope?
Sweet thanks for your replies guys! I think I am going to go with that Traditions scope. They have one on their website for a killer deal right now so I think I'm going to get that one. I would stick with open sights but some buddies that shoot them say when they are shotting further away it makes i...

Which scope?
I just got a new Tradition Pursuit muzzleloader and looking at getting a scope for it. I am in Utah so I can only get a 1x to be legal. My buddy had a red dot on his but didn't like it at all and said that it wouldn't stay sighted in with his Knight. Just wondering what everyone else uses or would r...

Re: More Poaching Idiots - And this one is bad.
This ticks me off. We all pay money and hope to get lucky enough to draw out a tag for an animal that we all respect. And then these guys come and just slaughter them like crazy. Does anyone know where the majority of these were taken?

Re: Practice?
Sounds like you're pretty much doing what I do. I started practicing about a month ago but its been off and on with this crazy Utah weather! But during June and July I like to get out and shoot at least every other day. Same thing though, just try to get as much variety in your shots and try to make...

Re: Had some good luck
Is is August 21st yet?! Those bucks are awesome. I've always loved the look of Muleys in velvet. Hoping to be able to get me one of the big boys I've been following for 2 years now. Those pictures are getting me super excited! Congrats!

Re: 2009 Wifes first deer
Thanks everyone!! And I must say I feel pretty lucky to have a wife who is as muley addicted as me! She is just as anxious to go this year as I am! We ended up getting this deer european mounted for her since it was her first deer....I'll get some pics of that up soon. And we'll hopefully be getting...

Flash or no flash? SIngle or 3 shot?
Just trying to get some opinions on what everyone prefers? Do you guys use the flash or does that scare away the deer? Also do you use single shot or the 3 shot? I got a Moultrie 4.0 and excited to try it out this year just seeing what would work best in everyone's experience. This will be my first ...
