Hopefully someone will chime who is familiar with the area.. My best advise is to try to get to some high ground where you can get a good vantage and glass.. Take some binos and for long distance, a spotter. I'm not sure if the terrain will allow for this or not, but chances are it will. Look for fr...

Alot will depend on the weather.. a couple of good storms may push deer to lower elevations. I agree that doing some hiking will help get you away from the crowds.
