How much you willing to spend? Lot's of good choices out there..

It took me awhile, but I saved up and got a swarovski. Well worth the wait is all I can say.

Large tube jigs tipped with chub meat. Assuming you can use bait at this particular water..

Alot will depend on the weather.. a couple of good storms may push deer to lower elevations. I agree that doing some hiking will help get you away from the crowds.
