CO leftover tags
Tomorrow morning, left over tags will go on sale for those who didn't draw what they put in for. Starts at 9:00am and I'll be there as more than likely the only person in line (with my grandson). I know a couple of places that never have anyone in line, unlike down on the front range. I'll be trying...

Re: Backdoor Draw Results Open for CO
You might want to looking into AZ, though you will need to pile up some points. We don't start hunting elk here until about 9000 feet and then up from there. Another thing you can do is get up to about 5000 feet, stay there for a few days, and then move up to 8-9000 feet for a few days just lazing a...

Re: Backdoor Draw Results Open for CO
Once you try elk you'll be hard pressed to want anything else. Most of our meals have elk meat in them. Its finding the dang things when hunting them that is the hardest part of the game. Well, getting them out of the woods ranks up there pretty high, too.

Re: Backdoor Draw Results Open for CO
I've got three muleys on the wall already but I'd much rather have elk in the freezer! Down to just a few pounds now and my wife has gotten pretty used to the stuff over the years.

Re: Nikon Glass
I have Leopold, Burris, Zeiss, Vortex and Swaro. My brother has Nikon. Truth be told, looking through all of them, I can only tell the difference with the Swaro. All are very, very good but the Swaro is better.

Re: Backdoor Draw Results Open for CO
My wife didn't draw but my grandson got his deer tag. It'll be his first time hunting anything and I'll do my best to help him get a nice buck. Good news is my wife and I should both draw elk next year.

Hopefully my wife and grandson will get their deer tags for 2nd season and fill them to take the pressure off of me!

Looks like I got my deer tag for third season but didn't draw elk. Didn't plan on elk but was hopeful. Still have left over tags coming up!

Re: Turkeys
I had them buggers every morning at the house last month until the day before hunting season opened on them. Haven't seen them since!
