No I havent found anything yet. Im with you though in that I woulkd have stopped bidding thats a little pricy for me. Anyways I will keep searching and if I find anything I will let you know.

ABert i dont see what the problem is with selling shed horns. If me and my dad kept every shed that we have ever found theres no way they would fit in a 10'x10'10' shop. Take it from me we find more sheds than most people i know and i can count on one hand how many times we have come out ahead once ...

Spring 2011 Sheds
Well its now to hot to be out looking for sheds for myself so I thought I would share what I have found so far this spring. There have been many heavy packs hauled off the mountain this year. Hopefully this fall I can go get what I missed

Desert and California Sheep
Here are some sheep I have seen while I have been out scouting for deer. The first four pictures are california and the other two pictures are of a desert ram.

My scouting so far.
Here is what I have been able to find and get pictures of so far. I have seen two giants that were to far away to get pictures of so hopefully I get on them and have a picture of myself holding them . Hopefully this gets you as excited about the upcoming season as I am.

I live in Winnemucca and have hunted there a number of times. This is actaully a really good area. Your right in that there is low deer population there but the deer you do see seem to be alot better bucks. I would look in the Eugenes as a starting spot. Yeah I was actually on 3 bull elk hunts last year in NV. The first guy was a friend from work and he killed a 280-300 type 6x6 on opening day near Ely. Put in for deer archery with no points, Antelope horns longer than ears with 1 point, California sheep with 10 points, Desert sheep with 10 points, Antlered elk with 10 points, Mountain Goat with 10 points, and Rocky Mountain Sheep with 10 points.
