Re: Rifle Sight In
I've got one bolt action and one lever. The lever's got a scope mounted so you can still use the sights, too. I know the bolt's not too inaccurate at about 50 yards cause I popped a yote with it. But the lever was my grandpa's and nobody knows what he did with/to it before he died. I don't know, he ...

Rifle Sight In
Hey all,
I'm needin' to sight in a rifle or two, and I've never done it before. Can someone give me a run down on the procedure? Do I need to use the exact same ammo I'll hunt with? Or just a similar bullet weight, type, etc?

Re: CO GMU 51 Elk
No, haven't done an ounce of scouting. Yes, I am kicking myself already! ](*,) I have a serious question, but I don't want to start a new topic: I got one of my granddad's rifles and I'm looking at using the Hornady LEVERevolution ammo with it, but Cabelas, Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, CheperThanDirt ...

CO GMU 51 Elk
I'm new to hunting, and new to the area, so you can bet I have some questions! I kinda went leftover crazy and grabbed one of the three rifle GMU 51 cow tags figuring it would be better to have it than not But where should I try for? I live past Rampart, almost to the river.
