Very light weight binos?
Has anyone any experience with very light weight binoculars? I'm looking for something to carry backpacking. Don't want to spend too much either - less than $100 - since they won't get used that often. I know I won't get good quality for cheap, but these will be for casual wildlife viewing along the...

Re: Book Cliffs Buck
Rookie, I'm far from the most knowledgable guy there is on the Books, but I have spent a fair amount of time out there. Hunted it almost every year for a long time before it became LE, hunt coyotes out there every year and finally drew an any weapon tag for it in '11. PM me with any specific questio...

Re: Coyotes
Thank you for the comments everyone. My own entertainment and sharing them online are the only reasons I take pictures in the first place. So I really do appreciate the comments! Cast', you asked about equipment, these were all with a Canon 60D and a Sigma 150-500 lens. Had been really liking the 60...

Re: Best use of Tax Payer money?
I'm not upset. Just not interested in continuing to repeat myself :)) . I would ask you though, when you say a better way of "doing things", exactly what "things" do you mean? That's one of the problems with discussing coyote control. Most guys I talk to really don't even have a very clear idea exac...

Re: Best use of Tax Payer money?
Dave, any thoughts on the Law they just passed in Texas ? No, not really. It's a different world than here. Those ranches are 100% deeded private land and those ranchers have been using the wildlife on their land as a cash crop for a long time. Guided predator hunts have been going on in Texas fore...

Re: Best use of Tax Payer money?
my rancher friend says its about 6-8 really good I think but not at $1250 an hour. That makes your yotes at 20,000 a year $3,125,000 if they get 8 a year. give the other 2million to trappers and lets get this population manageable. Ask your rancher friend if he thinks the problem he is now willing ...

Re: Best use of Tax Payer money?
Historically, there have been MUCH higher amounts than $50 in todays money offered. None of them have ever worked. Ever. Remember, we are talking about coyotes here. Not wolves. Just how many additional coyotes do we think might be killed because of a $50 bounty? An actual number. How many? Is that ...

Coyotes
Been hunting them forever, but this fall I decided to try and call them to the camera and get a couple pictures of them. Found out it's a lot harder to get a good picture of a coyote than it is to just kill them :)) . But here are some of the better pics I did manage to get. http://photos.imageevent...
