Re: Bowhunting Colorado for Mulies
The only thing I do is avoid trees, so either the high country or brush country and rimrocks work well. To me it is all spot and stalk. I have never waited for anything at a water hole, and don't think I will. The key is to get up high and glass. Find the buck you want, then wait for him to bed in a...

Re: wyoming help
This is one of those questions that can only be answered............it depends. It depends on your dad's condition and hiking ability. It depends upon your trophy standards. Region G can be a tough place to hunt. It's steep and it is big country. I'm not sure where you are from or how exerienced you...

I snuck up on him and even pointed my muzz at him, but decided not to take the shot. I only saw a few other hunters. Seemed like mos...

Re: If you could draw one place in colorado, where would it be??
That is one of those "it depends" questions. The answer depends upon lots of factors. You can kill big deer in lots of places in Colorado. It depends upon your standards, (170, 180, 190, or 200+), what kind of country you like to hunt (plains, P-J, high country), how long you are willing to wait, an...

Re: 09 Henry Mountain Hunt Update - Part 2
Great bucks and thanks for the pictures. I agree, we do need a few more areas managed for quality like the Henries. Makes some hunters stay around just for the chance to someday chase bucks in a place like that.
