There was a little note in the box of E-Tips that said to start with the lowest starting load and not go over the mid load. It also said to seat the bullets .050 to .100 off the lands. These were 180gr 30 cals

I've run into this before as well. It seems to be more prevalent since "The Great Shortage" I've just chalked it up to QC inspectors at both the brass and primer manufactures being a little more lenient about the specs so as to meet the higher demand. North east Wyoming doesn't look good
My dad just drove across from Cody on out of the state and he said they didn't see hardly any antelope. It was stinking hot though so maybe they were laying down out of sight.

Give the metal a good coat of paste wax and seal the wood with tung oil. Keep the innards of the rifle well lubed and you should be good to go.

It's National Forest so you can pitch camp anywhere, although it is always best to re use a site if at all possible.
