For anyone interested in doing euro mounts on their own, the kit from Van Dyke's taxidermy online is a really great value! It is about 30 shipped and could do about 8 animals! Anywhere I have ever seen places to pay to have them done they are about 200 on average! I love doing it too.

Comm'on Guys... isn't the fair chase hunt arguement getting a wee-bit tired on this site every time someone starts talking about guides? I do not know if it originates from jealousy due to the fact that it obviously requires a lot of money to get that kind of hunt done or if it truly about fair chas...

another point is that I do not know if both cow tags are for you or not but if they are it is very hard to eat 2 elk in 12 months!

well, this could get to be a long discussion but I will start by saying that landowners are still going to do what they need to do to manage herds in danger of being picked off one by one. Secondly (on the other side of the coin) how is a near 25% kill of the entire population a good number to manag...
