Re: Busted!
I guess the idiot missed this part. FAIR CHASE STATEMENT FAIR CHASE, as defined by the Boone and Crockett Club, is the ethical, sportsmanlike, and lawful pursuit and taking of any free-ranging wild, native North American big game animal in a manner that does not give the hunter an improper advantage...

Re: what boots do you wear for high country hunting?
I've been wearing these boots for 7 years, and they still look like new. Seriously. Best boots i've ever owned. Never cold or wet feet, and they needed no break in. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Footwear/Mens-Footwear/Mens-Hunting-Boots/Mens-Insulated-Hunting-Boots%7C/pc/104797980/c/104747580/sc/10...

Re: First Colorado muzzy elk hunt
Why do you want to hunt the ML season? I live in and love Colorado, but I think the ML laws are stupid. I'm too old to use iron sights. It wouldn't be fair to the animal. I love muzzleloaders, and it's all i'll hunt with, but i'll never hunt in ML season. The elk/muley's are up too high, and it way ...

Re: Elk hunt in unit 55, Coloradl
You're right. The 4 wheelers will drive you nuts in that area. It will still be warm for ML season, so it will be crowded with non hunters.
It's a big area though. You should find some private spots. The elk will be really high for ML season. If you just want meat. A cow tag is easy to get.

Re: MuleyMadness Roll Call
Hi Guys, I'm glad I found this forum. Hunting Muley's is my passion. I'm 68 and have been hunting for 60 years. I'll hunt as long as I can walk. I hunt alone, and i've had to give up hunting elk. Just too much animal for me to handle at my age. It's ok though. It gives me more time to concentrate on...
