Re: My first Muley Buck (2010)
Killerbee you are right, the land is awesome for glassing. I actually just sent in my payment for a vortex skyline 20-60x80 ED spotting scope and am trying to convince myself to pull the trigger on some new vortex binos. Worst case I think I'm going to buy the vortex diamondback binos. I have tried ...

Re: Wish (Hunt) List 2011
All of my hunting will be done in Alberta, Canada but will be moving around a bit. Elk - I'll be down in South West Alberta chasing Elk around the Rockies for the first 2 weeks of September. Mule Deer - I'm going to try and take a couple days to chase Mule deer while I'm down South Elk hunting and w...

Re: Colorado GMU 371....
Great pictures. I've never hunted in Colorado but did go elk hunting in the Rocky Mountains (Alberta) this year and saw a few mule deer out there. With me only having 8 days to hunt elk and the rest of the season to chase mule deer I never did try to hunt any up there but did watch them for a while....

Re: My first Muley Buck (2010)
Thanks for the compliments everyone. This buck has and always will mean a lot to me. My family has hunted my whole life and I never thought I would want to be the one to pull the trigger despite being on several hunting trips. Hunting Mule deer is what has triggered my hunting addiction and got me a...

My first Muley Buck (2010)
Hey everyone, I'm new here and thought I would share my hunting story with you of my first ever Muley Buck. It took me 2 seasons of chasing Mule deer around to finally get myself a buck. With me being relatively new to hunting I told myself that I would take any decent buck I got a clean shot at. An...

Re: MuleyMadness Roll Call
Hello everyone. I just signed up and have been browsing the forums on here. I'm from Alberta Canada and have become addicted to bowhunting Mule deer. I only started hunting 2 years ago and really only got into it after spending a few days tagging along with my brother on a mule deer hunt. There is j...

Re: badlands 2200 backpack
I have been looking at these packs for a little while now and am undecided if I am going to get a 2200 or if I will get the Eberlestock X2. I think I like the layout of the X2 a little more but haven't yet been able to find one locally to look at. Does anyone have experience with both packs?

Re: Vortex Skyline standard vs ED
I was talking to a guy today about the Vortex optics and according to him and a Vortex rep, the ED glass gives approx. 10% more clarity than the standard glass. I couldn't tell you how noticeable that 10% is or if it would be worth it or not. I did however just buy the Vortex Skyline ED spotting sco...

Re: Trail Cam Help
I strongly recommend the Bushnel Trail cams. I had 2 (1 got stolen) and have had great experiences with them. They have outstanding battery life, fast trigger speeds and decent picture quality given the price. I only have the 5mp version but haven't had any issues with the quality of the pictures al...
