Powder temperature sensitivity?
Have any of you guys had any issues with pressure/velocity increase and decrease with winter/summer temp changes? I use 68.0 grains of IMR 7828 ssc in my 7mm Rem mag and developed this load in mild 50-60 degree temps and was wondering if I might have problems at 90-100 degree summer days. I read som...

Re: 7mm Rem Mag new favorite load
Went to the range with my load today and tried it out at 200 yds. I fired 3 rounds of 3 shot groups in the swirling wind. All three groups were sub moa. I'm done other than chronographing it. It ought to be pretty quick me thinks. I am pleased!

Re: Military surplus ALICE packs
Thanks guys,
I have seen the Molle's for $49.95 and was wondering about them. I did not know that they would haul that kind of load. I don't think that I would ever have anything more than 50# unless I was packing out a quarter.

Re: Favorite Bow or Brand.
In compounds I still like my old PSE Fire-Flite Express and see no need for me to buy a new one every year like some folks do. If I lived out west and got to hunt a lot of open country I probably would buy a newer/faster model. I normally hunt whitetails with a homemade laminated 52# longbow and ced...

Re: Military surplus ALICE packs
Oh the Good ol Alice Pack! I have used mine on a couple overnight fishing trips and some scouting. It works ok but no where near as well as the new packs that are out. I haven't used it for about 5 years now. They are extremely rugged and stout but don't carry weight nearly as well as the new stuff...

Re: Best speed goat round
Absolutely perfect goat round, or at least I think so. That is what I use for everything these days. I really liked my 25-06, but sold it along with several others and settled on the 7mm Rem mag as a do-all round. I did have problems with the Nosler Ballistic tips blowing up, but all other bullets h...
