that is a really good question! If you can tear the gun down every day and clean/oil it, you should be fine. I have a kimber 8400 325wsm walnut/matte and it is actually quite weather resistant. Just make sure that the barrel channel and action area are well oiled and sealed. I would however recomend...

If a lightweight mountain rifle is what you desire, then a 260rem would be my choice. (Kimber 84m montana to be precise) If you can get away with a medium weight 26" barrel long action, then I'd go with a 264 win mag. (find a decent used M70 or 700) A 6.5/284 fits somewhere in between the two. Bulle...

Did someone ask for a Nosler fan? lol I own a 300 win mag (ballisticaly a twin to 300wsm) and this is how I chose my bullet. I wanted a 180 grain pill as I believe it provides the best balance of velocity and energy. I was expecting somewhere around 3100fps, so the ballistic tip and most other cup/c...

right now I have a 67 fastback and a 97 cobra, several others have came and went...... mostly older models.
