Just used my old Scout 1000 w/o the new ARC last Saturday. Ranged out to 790 yds with no problems. My friend had to send his Nikon back for repair but they did just send him a new one.

Roger Selner is hosting the one at Sportsman's in St George. Very approachable person and a great bunch of heads. Went twice already.

Tom - Keep us posted with the results, kill or no kill. I understand your position as I am probably ten years older than you, having hunted now for 45 years. If I drew your tag, I would mow lawns on the side or have garage sales to pay for guide service to someone who knows where to begin.

Just a suggestion for your future hunts. Get a used refrigerator for your garage or similar area for next years hunt. You can store your quarters or boned out meat in it while you are working and in the evenings you can cut it up yourself with a small amount of direction for the 1st time. You will b...
