Re: Seen legit 200" buck?
I'm going to say Yes that he is. He has great forks, front and back. Mass looks good and I'd say he is at least a 180' main frame. I'm thinking 187'. It also looks like he has an 8' inline off of the G-2 and about 4' in kickers on the right. Now add in the nice eye guards at at least another 8' and ...

I also wanted to tell you that I bought the Cabelas Pine Ridge scope. I think it's just a little over a 100 bucks, but it works really good for what it is. I wish they had a BDC 1x to buy.

Re: Scope or No Scope in Utah
I personally like the scope. I used a red dot and didn't like it to well. Felt huge on my Loader. If you plan on shoot out over a 100 yards, I'd stay with open sights. Over a 150 yards or more the sight covers up a lot of the deer and it's hard to pin point your shot. The Williams Peep sights do wor...

I bought Jim Zumbo's Book and I must admit, it's awesome. My family loves a lot of the stuff he has in there. Most are very simple to make to.

Ya, I voted already too, for Marissa Oaks. She is a Utah Girl. Got to take care of my Utah girls. They are all deserving like you said. It's an honor just to be picked.

I just loved this thread. Talk about a great read Nice job and way to stick with it and get it done. Most on here don't like to divulge information to new guys with low post numbers. I would've helped if I knew anything about the area. Anyway, congrats

I guess you'll have to learn and adapt like the rest of us did. It's not that hard. Just throw some garbage bags in your pack and bone him out. I can do mine in about an hour and can fit it all in one trip. You can quarter him out and do 2 or 3 trips if you want. It's always fun to hunt with someone...

+1 on BOG-POD. I bought the switcheroo head and can use it for my spotting scope and camera out in the field. I always have to take my own pictures and it's great for that too. A lot of good stuff out there though.
