Another Johnson vote for Nosler Accu-bonds. My 7mm mag loves them, but I would choose whatever shot the best since deer are not that hard to kill.

Out west I use a Ruger 7mm Remington magnum with a Leupold VXIII 3.5x10 scope. In Arkansas timber I use a Winchester 94 in 7x30 Waters with a Lyman receiver sight. Ruger 77 MKII 7mm Remington magnum with VXIII 3.5x10x40 glass. It will drive tacks with 160 Nosler Accu-bonds and is pretty to look at. I once had a 300 Weatherby Mark V that didn't like the Sierra's, but would stack 180 Interlocks into 3/4 inch . With that said the Sierra boatails will tend to group a little tighter in more rifles. The hornady's have a longer parallel section that seem to help freebored chambers like the Weatherby'...

I've owned several over the years and still have a .243 in the safe. They were all shooters. I do regret letting the .257 Roberts get away as they didn't make many of them.
