Re: Need advise on bow hunting

You guys are offering the right advice here. I had someone in an Archery Shop tell me once that "You don't find your specific bow.... It finds you." There are so many different bows on the market that have different feels to them. Get to a shop, try as many as you can. Keep your budget in mind, ofte...

We found some steep shooting angles that said the rang...

What does me being from Az have to do with a hunt in Utah where blaze orange is required and what does the rest of your statement even mean? Heheheheh, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING m ga...

Re: Knives of Alaska Alpha Wolf

hahahaha, I saw one of these in action just a couple of weeks ago when we were dressing my buddy's Muley. While he was gutting it, I asked if he had a hatchet or small saw cause my Wyoming Saw was in my backpack about 100 yards up the mountain. His dad pulled his knife out and started to saw through...

Re: USFS 150yd Rule

I agree with everyone else, this is ridiculous. Just because its a "road" doesnt mean is occupied. A dirt road at that! Was is a very remote area that not a lot of people "occupy"? From what you said, having no campsites or buildings within 150yds I would think that to be NOT OCCUPIED....right? Too ...

Re: spot and stalk, How close can you get?

From those distances you really need to be strategic. The wind, sounds, movement, up/down hill are going to be big factors on it. If you are careful and smart about it you can do it. I'd say though, with a rifle the stalk if far easier because you dont NEED to get in that close to make your shot (10...
