I hate to say it, but the figures don't add up. 1500 acres owned and 1700 govmint lease? Dat means you don't own it. Now I might be slow but those figures don't add up to 4000. And 9+million is a lot to ask for 1500 acres. Lottery or no lottery. OT

You didn't read it right. The ranch is 5,700 acres total. 4000 acres are deeded with 1500 acres therein having 18 miles of 8' high fencing. The 1700 acres are additional area leased from BLM and Montana State for grazing purposes.

Yes, the price is 9.5M. However, there is a smaller similiar ranch about 25 miles upstream called the Spring Creek Ranch. It can be purchased for 16M. Check is out at Todd Phillips Real Estate.
