Bobcat & Elk Hide for Sale

Post by huntingal » Tue Sep 02, 2008 11:40 am

My mother-in-law was cleaning the closets and came accross a bobcat rug and elk hide that she wants to get rid of.
The elk hide is soft tanned and measures 64" X 55". It was taken in southwest Colorado. The hair is tight, clean and in real good condition. She wants $100 plus shipping.

The bobcat rug measures 40" nose to tail. It is double felted, the fur is clean and soft with lots of spots. The taxidermy is in good shape for the age. It was aslo taken in soutwest colorado We are asking $200 plus shipping.

PM me is anybody is interested or needs more info.
Thanks.

Is it just me or did that bobcat do a spread eagle into a vat of mustard? lol

All kidding aside, its a nice pelt.

Must have been a HUGE sale on ugly unpopular colors of felt! It is a decent looking mount, but what on Earth would someone be thinking that would put those colors of felt on it?! ](*,)

I remember seeing a lion done the same way a couple years ago, I thought it was photo shopped or something.

I'd be interested in those, if they are still available.
