"Average" Ogden Unit Bull Moose

Postby derekp1999 » Thu Oct 27, 2011 3:13 pm

Here's an "average" bull moose that I ran into on my way off the mountain last night. I wish I would have had my better camera... but the wife won't let me take it hunting or fishing. He's nice and tall, but his paddles are a bit weak. Still a bit intimidating when there is nothing but 50 yards of low vegetation between it & me.

I'm sure he could make up 50 yards pretty quick! My wife and I jumped a small bull in the morning while walking a trail. About scared me to death being only 25 yards from it.
