It was a really fun hunt. I looked over 54 different 3/4 curl or better rams in 12 days. Over the course of the hunt I was within 30 yards of 8 different 180+ rams. I actually passed this guy up at 28 yards 2 hours into the first morning. 8 days later I got another chance. The whole story is supposed to be in an upcoming issue of Eastmans.

Welcome! That really is an impressive animal :thumb .Congratulations! Can't wait to read the story.

It is a dream of mine to someday hunt for the big head knockers. The day I drove into Jackson Hole (when I moved west) the first wild animal I saw was a big full curl ram standing in the highway at the opening of Granite Hot Springs Rd. Left quite an impression!
The more people I meet the more I prefer dogs!
