Any good dog is a good one, just found a very fresh winter range kill today while on a hike, coyote crap at the scene. Thinking about watching it tomorrow with cooper in hand. Congrats, lucky or not, very few of us can make shots like that. -------shooter

its a savage 243. I am not sure on the bullets I was using my neighbor reloads them for me. I do know they are 60 grain bullets. I kinda winged him in the shoulder leaving a huge hole With lots of blood but he still made it pretty far. he fell halfway through the ice and we had to finish him with the 9mm when we got there. I had to get a picture because it was my longest shot so we spent about an hour fishing for coyote.
