Another coyote

Went out the other day when it was snowing very hard. Decided to call anyway and had this hungry Male run on in, in fact I was hunting over a wash that had very steep sides of about 10 feet. he came to the wash and looked for a spot to get down and finally just leaped off the edge. After he hit the bottom he stopped for just a few seconds and I took him. I hit him a little bit forward but he still dropped instantly. I was using the new Primos Ki-Yi making the Jack rabbit squalls.

Awesome! Where does a guy go calling around here in Southern Utah anyway? Never done it, does or will this snow help? Or does it make a difference?

The snow usually helps quite a bit. It forces the rabbits to go in to hiding and the coyotes will be more willing to come in with empty stomachs. In fact I usually have better luck while it's snowing. Now that said usually it's not snowing quite this bad O:) If you would like to go out sometime let me know. As far as area's to call, it's really all over. I go out towards the Arizona strip, Colorado City (Utah side), out by the sand dunes, Parowan, really anywhere you could hunt Rabbits.
