YEEEE HAWWWW!

Post by chet » Fri Jan 08, 2010 3:58 pm

you guys aint gonna believe this!

I have been trying to draw an early season central region utah turkey tag for 9 years!
well...... now that they've changed the hunts around a bit, there was no way they could deny me this year!!! lol

yup eight points (9 if you count this year) later I finally drew! ](*,)

the first 6 or so years, I was putting in for the oquihr stansbury unit.
then the unit got bigger, changed to west desert something or other.
then the late season went region wide.
I stuck with applying for the early season all this time.....

and now here I am.... worrying about how many tag holders are gonna be trampling my special turkey spots!!!!!! [-o<

It's all good! with any luck, I wont have to mess with one of the stinky critters! :))

I'm gonna do it with a bow, except for the last day, then I'll use my 50BMG :-$

A big high five at our house too,,,,Both my oldest son and wife drew southern region.

Now the question is where to hunt?

I think we've narrowed it down to Boulder or Fillmore.

I predict you will need to mess with one of the stinky critters, anyway I wish you luck on a big smelly Gobbler. :)

Congrats chet! cant wait to here the hunt report..good luck!

Goofy- sounds like you're in for some fun too. If it were me, I'd head for the Boulder. That way you can slip in a little fishin' too. :thumb

8 pts! geez! what you think the draw odds are on a southern tag? anyone know? i drew the L.E. this year with 0 pts. not sure if many people had pts or what?
cant be too big of a long shot is it?
