Nice Denny, Feels good to win a battle with an old tom once in a while, heaven knows I've lost alot more than I've won. Don't tell her, but the one with the call is really the one who kills the turkey. Don't get me wrong, head blasting them is fun too.-------SS

Great job to both of you! I agree with Shooter, the caller is the one who gets the kill.

I called my first bird in this year and arrowed him. Makes the hunt that much more fun when you call it in your self.. Congrats nice bird... where abouts is that hunt?

Congrats on taking a nice tom while spending some "quality time" with the better half. :thumb That's a win win situation.

She Drew a early Southern tag It is a Merriam Turkey I was impressed how the birds have come back in that area we have hunted on & off as some one in the family drew a tag it has been a while since we hunted there I hope the DWR knows what there doing with the open late hunt but they are harder to get than you think but some one that has never got a tag or hunted turkeys that Love's to hunt should have a chance to hunt them Because it is a BLAST!
