squirrell hunting utah, legal or not?

Anybody know if huntin squirrell is legal here? Im so tired of squirrells chirpin when im in a stand after coyotes or fox. figured i could make a nice stew outta those pests. any ideas? worth it or not?

I'm assuming you mean tree squirrels? I don't know if there's a season on them, but I've never seen one here yet. I have seen a few ground squirrels though and I hope that it's legal to bludgeon them to death with hand tools, or I might be facing charges.--------SS

I believe that squirrels are protected in Utah, but all hunters would love get'em back for all of the alarms they sound.

Arrows are much more quiet than your rifle going off...

i have never heard a season, or a protection on them. they are rodents and i dont need a tag to kill mice... i have shot a few with a air pistol but they were getting into the cabin so selfdefense! but id really like to know if i can do it freely! anyone know for certain?

there is no way they could EVER prove that it is possible to kill one with a wrench lol lol

im almost positive they are protected in the state of Utah... but wolves are protected in Idaho and look where thats getting them.
