I got my draw in WI, but I won't buy my actual license until it actually seems somewhat promising near my time period. I used to be able to get a tom every year, but I've been on a dry spell the last couple of years. The turkeys seem to be taking a hit imo based upon the consecutive harsh winters(?), increase in turkey hunters, poaching, and plentiful tags continued to be offered. I've come to realize I'll never have the same experience of turkey hunting as I've had when I first started, at least not around here. But it still sure is exciting hearing those pre-sunrise gobbles.
