I've had the opportunity to do a lot of bird hunting this Fall. Even more the usual. :)
My 2 year old Britt pup loves his job.Image

Good looking birds and even better looking dogs!

Just curious, how do things work out hunting with a pointer and a flusher at the same time? I've hunted with both but never at the same time. My guess is your Britt may get a bit upset...lol

I hunt them one at a time and both at the same time, depends some on the cover I'm hunting. They are doing their own thing, joining each other at times when one is on scent, they understand each others body language. The two dogs at a time I'm pretty sure don't miss any birds. These are all wild roosters in heavy cover. The pointer and flusher work very well together. :thumb

Mixed bags are the norm, nothing like a Lab to pull a downed greenhead out of the cattails.

Nice mix of birds.

Sure wish that we still had some real pheasant left around here.
