tom turkey pics :)

Post by killerbee » Mon May 04, 2009 2:20 pm

took the family camping this weekend and did some turkey hunting. it rained all weekend. but we got on alot of birds. i killed this tom saturday. he has 81/4" beard and 3/4 spurs.i was pretty stoked about it! my wife almost had a bird sunday morning but it just wouldn't come up the last hill for her to shoot. but there was 3 birds gobbling their heads off all morning so she had a great time. had to get my daughter and nephew in for the picture. they were as excited as me when they seen him! had a great time with the family and now a turkey dinner to boot!

Nicely done. Congratulations. I enjoy turkey hunting almost as much as elk hunting. Something about those gobblers that just make me shake in my shoes!

Great photo killerbee. Way to get them started early. :thumb Between shed hunting and turkey hunting you have had a busy spring.
