Oregon Blacktails

Post by Tree Killer » Tue Apr 22, 2008 9:21 am

I mounted a trailcam in a tree pointing down at a USFS sign post that the bucks rub their antlers on. Didn't get as many pics as I had hoped, but here's a good buck that came in and sniffed the post.

That's a P&Y Blacktail for sure. Nice job with the trailcam. 10sign: 10sign: 10sign:

Glad you guys appreciate the Blacktail pics! I know this is MuleyMadness, but I live for the Blacktail. I have hundreds of trailcam pics and photos of live bucks I've rattled in during the rut.

Where'd you hunt around Sandy? I live about 6 miles east of town and have deer in my yard daily. Occasionally a nice buck will slip in for a day or two during the rut.

One does not hunt in order to kill; one kills in order to have hunted.
