That is one rare & beautiful Brook Trout. We use to have Brookies in Colorado like that back in the good Ole days. I guess we must of fished them out.

May have been the new state record, but he never had it officially weighed.

This bad boy had a 19 1/2" girth. I still look at it and can't believe what a "TOAD" it is.

Holy cow! Man, I've done a bit of Brookie fishing in Montana but have NEVER seen anything even close to that one!
Are ya sure it wasn't caught next to a nuclear power plant or something?!?!?

Brett, Thanks! Do you know how many years ago? I didn't know they were any brookies like that left in the Rockies. Was it caught in Beaver pond? Nightcrawler? Just guessing......................
