Coyotes

Post by Coyote LJ » Fri Jan 27, 2012 9:06 am

Been hunting them forever, but this fall I decided to try and call them to the camera and get a couple pictures of them. Found out it's a lot harder to get a good picture of a coyote than it is to just kill them :)) . But here are some of the better pics I did manage to get.

Great yotes there Coyote! I wish I had thought about it when I was calling in Beaver Mt. last week. I am sure I could have snaked one picture when this yote was looking at my dad and he had no idea it was there. I though he saw him come in but he was focused on a bobcat that sat on a ridge about 150 out. I just waited for the shot that never came. LOL

Now take your hunting equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out into the open country and hunt some wild game for me.

Thank you for the comments everyone. My own entertainment and sharing them online are the only reasons I take pictures in the first place. So I really do appreciate the comments!

Cast', you asked about equipment, these were all with a Canon 60D and a Sigma 150-500 lens. Had been really liking the 60D until it took a dump all the sudden a few weeks ago. Canon is fixing it under warranty, but they sure are taking forever with it...
